Hundreds seek their futures at job fair

— The Best Western Conference Center at Hunt's Landing saw a steady stream of job seekers throughout the day last Friday.
Resumes were flying at the Working Pike Job Fair. Employers gave instructions on how to apply online\.
Chairs lined a long hallway, where job seekers sat down to fill out forms. Classes in networking were offered twice during the fair.
Everyone received an employer directory loaded with information and websites. Here's a digital copy: http://www.edapikepa.org/Working-Pike-Directory-2016.pdf
Chalking up a big win for job seekers and employers alike were the day's team of sponsors, including St. Ann's Parish, CDE Training Institute, Delaware Valley Warrior Café Students, St. John Neumann and Good Shepherd Catholic Community, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Pike County Commissioners, the Pike County Economic Development Authority, the Pike County Workforce Development Agency, and St. Vincent's de Paul Catholic Church.
It was a good news day for the hundreds who turned out, bringing their dreams with them, and making them real.
