Karl Wagner Jr. is appointed to library board

MILFORD — Karl Wagner Jr. was recently appointed to the Pike County Library Board of Directors.
Wagner is a lifelong county resident and a former county commissioner. He was recently honored at the library’s annual dinner-dance for his outstanding service to the community and the library.
“I grew up next to a library," Wagner said. "A library’s presence is very important to a community. Without them, we have no past and no future."
Board president Kirk Mackey said, “We’ve seen Karl do great things for this community over the years, and we consider ourselves very lucky to have him on our team.”
The library board’s next meeting is at 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, in the Community Room of the Milford branch, located at 119 East Harford Street.
