Stroudsburg. A host of performances showcasing the development of American music will take place throughout Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm on July 17.

Enjoy the sounds of traditional music ringing out through Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in Stroudsburg.
The 15th annual “Music in the Valley” on Saturday, July 17, will feature musical performances all around the farm. Many of the songs will be reminiscent of the music settlers played in the 19th century.
A variety of performers will be playing at the different venues throughout the day. The grand finale is a jam session at 3:30 p.m.
This is a great opportunity to learn the background of songs you know and love, and how the music of our country developed through the last two centuries.
Children are invited to play old-fashioned games and make some crafts. The one-room schoolhouse will be open and the outdoor bake oven will be in operation. Puppeteer Bonnie Scott will hold shows throughout the day.
The farm tours will run from 10 a.m. to 5p.m. Allow two and a half hours to see all of the tour.
Come for a few hours, or bring a picnic lunch make a day of it. All funds raised will support the non-profit farm museum and its mission.
