Meet the candidates for Delaware Valley school board

MILFORD. Voters will pick five winning director candidates among seven competitors this November.

There’s been much competition for seats on the Delaware Valley School District Board of Education this year.

An initial field of 11 candidates was winnowed down to seven during the spring primaries. From those, voters will pick winners to fill five open seats on the board. Each term is for four years.

The Pike County Courier asked the candidates to answer questions about their plans and qualifications. To read their responses, follow these links:

Brian Fells, challenger, has not yet submitted responses.

IMPORTANT DATES
Oct. 23: Last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot.
Oct. 31: Last day for county boards of elections to receive voted mail-in and civilian absentee ballots (must be received by 8 p.m.)
Nov. 7: Election day
Nov. 8: Last day for county boards of elections to receive voted military and overseas absentee ballots (submitted for delivery no later than 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 6).
