Milford After Dark celebrates 'Women's Work'

MILFORD — "Women's Work" opens Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Milford Craft Show store as part of August's Milford After Dark.
Its Upstairs Gallery will host an opening reception Artist Meet and Greet from 6 to 8 p.m. Artists will on hand to discuss their work, pieces in progress and some of the classes and workshops they're offering in upcoming weeks.
A group show of 10 Delaware Highlands artists will include the donut series of Barbara Fiore, alcohol ink paintings by Jane Brennan, watercolors by Jill Dickerson and Madeline Tully, oil paintings by Joan Standora and Elva Zingaro, and mixed-media pieces by Debbie Gioello, Audrey Lanham, Dixie Rich, and Jean Weir.
"Womens Work" hangs daily through Sept. 5 at the Milford Craft Show, 120 East Harford St., in downtown Milford. For more information and directions, visit facebook.com/craftshowmilford.

Participating businesses stay open into the evening with receptions and refreshments. Restaurants feature special seasonal items, often farm-to-table menu selections and an occasional musical performance.
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Golden Fish Gallery at 307 Broad St. is hosting The Tara Minstrels, a lively Celtic band, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Milford After Dark is a function of Milford Presents, online at MilfordPA.us.
