Milford. The Milford Borough Police Department is holding a contest for young adults to ride along in the Port Jervis Saint Patty’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 7.
The winner will ride along with an officer and be the official candy thrower. To participate, write a letter in your own words about what being a police officer means to you. Include your name, age, address, and contact number.
Mail your letter to secretary@milfordpa.org or drop the letter off to: Borough officer, 500 Broad St., Milford. After hours, drop the letter off in the mailbox in the rear of the building. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. on March 5.
The winner will be called on Friday evening, and will receive a Milford Borough Police Department sweatshirt.
