Milford farm market is a 'destination place'

At the May 4 Milford Borough meeting, Jolie DeFeis and David Wallace of Air Soil Water announced that Milford Market at The Grotto, 508 Harford Street, will open on May 24. DeFeis said the market supports organic farming and recycles dollars to keep them local, while also markedly increasing foot traffic in Milford, making the market a "destination place." The market will be open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, through Sept. 27. Mayor Bo Fean agreed that the market definitely increases business.
