)
Fine Art Painter Mitchell Saler and Artist Christopher Wilke created their art at Grey Towers National Historic Site in Milford on Sunday, April 27.
Saler’s painting is a valley view from the 102-acre property. Wilke used a black and white photograph of Gifford Pinchot as inspiration for a color portrait
The occasion was the Grey Towers Heritage Association’s “Art at the Towers” outdoor show. Despite the cool weather and occasional sprinkle, visitors engaged with more than 15 artists on site as they captured the beauty of the Grey Towers estate and Pinchot family. Live music for the event was provided through Café Wren.
