No trace yet of missing Milford teen

MILFORD (Corrected) — Despite a huge community and police effort to find missing 17-year old Leanna Walker, no trace of her whereabouts have been found as of yet.
A Facebook group has recently been formed that is dedicated to finding her, titled Search for Leanna Walker.
The latest post on the Facebook page questions if dogs have been involved in the searches, and also asks for a different photo of Leanna to be made public in an effort to find and identify her.
Friends, family, and others held a vigil on Milford Beach with candles on May 9, according to media reports.
Leanna was last seen April 18, leaving her Sunrise Lakes, Milford home with her boyfriend, Sky McDonough, 24.
McDonough was running from police in New Jersey for burglary charges. He was found hiding in a Milford llama farm where he’d worked together with Leanna, and after briefly escaping, was rearrested and is waiting for a hearing.
In a phone call last week with the Courier, State Trooper Connie Devens said a canine search was recently conducted on the premises of the llama farm where McDonough was apprehended.
A reward of $10,000 leading to finding Leanna has been put up by an anonymous donor.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Blooming Grove barracks at (570) 226-5718.
Editor's note: This story has been corrected to reflect the correct site of the llama farm, which is Milford, not New Jersey. The search warrant only was from New Jersey. The Courier regrets the error.
