— The Chamber Champion Awards recognize the people and businesses that make Pike County great.
Sponsored by the Pike County Chamber of Commerce, these awards are open to private, public and non-profit organizations and businesses of all sizes, both chamber members and non-members.
Winning a Chamber Champion Award speaks volumes about the quality of the businesses and the individuals being recognized, said chamber president Jody Welsh.
“Due to this event’s high profile, we expect the nominations to attract a wide range of entries from across the county and this event is set to be our biggest celebration yet," said Welsh. "The winners of these prestigious awards all have one thing in common — they are truly excellent at what they do."
The Chamber Champion Awards dinner allows businesses and organizations to showcase their company, share the story behind their success, and increase the awareness and visibility of their organization.
The awards are in six categories:

Business of the Year Award — Recognizes a business for their accomplishments and operational successes.
Hometown Star Award — Recognizes a person or organization that has made a significant economic impact on our area by conducting an event offering historical, social and charitable contribution in our area.
Person of Excellence Award — Recognizes a person whose character, conduct, leadership and achievements, and service contribute to the current and future development of Pike County personally and professionally.
Non-Profit Organization of the Year Award — Recognizes a non-profit organization that demonstrates excellence in their role in society, fundraising, marketing and strategic alliances and financial stability, all in the pursuit of its mission.
