MILFORD — Milford Open Mic will hold a benefit show for all Odyssey of the Mind teams representing the Delaware Valley School District teams at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at Jenn Murphy's Studio, 113 West Harford St., Milford.

"This will be the third annual benefit show my open mic has done for the kids," said organizer Mark Ferguson. "We raise money to provide things to these kids that the school district does not provide. In the past two years, we have raised over $2,500 for them! I am hoping to raise about $2,000 this year because this will be the first year I am promoting this for every team in the school district."

The MC for the evening is Dan Kostelec. The performers are, in order of performance: Ernie Kara, Ray Wehner, FerguZinn and the King on vocals and rhythm guitar, Olivia Zinn on bass, Gary Zinn on drums, and Matthew King on lead guitar, Shannon Ferguson with Isaac Pinheiro, Walt Edwards, Olivia Zinn, Charlie Reynolds, and Wesley, an alternative band featuring Bailey Kislak.

The cost is $5 per adult, or $3 per student. Children age 5 and under will be admitted free of charge.

Snacks and drinks will be available for sale. All proceeds will benefit the students.
