Pike County is partnering with Family Promise of Monroe County to help homeowners in Pike County who have fallen behind on their mortgage payments due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Eligible homeowners can receive up to $3,000 in mortgage assistance. For more information or to apply, call Katie Blake at 570-877-9277 or go to PikeForward.com.

Several homeowners have been assisted by the program since it began in October 2022. More than $200,000 of funding is still available to assist additional homeowners in need. To be eligible for the program, homeowners must reside in Pike County, be behind in mortgage payments due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and have income less than 80 percent of the area median – up to $63,100 for a family of four.

This project was financed by a grant from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development. Pike County’s Human Services Office is administering this program in partnership with Family Promise of Monroe County.
