Posters raise autism awareness

— Delaware Valley students created graphic designs for the Autism Acceptance Poster Contest sponsored by the Pike Autism Support Services.
The theme this year was “Growing Acceptance."
At Delaware Valley High School, the winner was senior Cassandra Hoffman. She received a gift card for her winning entry.
Seventh graders in Mrs. Favaro’s and Mr. Batista’s Computer Literacy class at Dingman-Delaware Middle School also created autism posters, using Microsoft Publisher to apply their own interpretation of the theme.
This year’s winners are:
First place — Keira Linehan
Second place — Dakota Steele
Third place — Alyssa Purpura
Honorable Mention — Bridget Gendreau
Honorable Mention — Reilly Ziolkowski
Honorable Mention — Vito Montorio
Honorable Mention — Stevie Hamilton
Honorable Mention — Zachary Morgan
