Presentation: How does the River Master manage reservoir releases?

    NARROWSBURG, N.Y. — The Delaware River Master will present “How the Office of Delaware River Master Directs Releases from the New York City Reservoirs” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, at the Upper Delaware Council (UDC) office, located at 211 Bridge St. in Narrowsburg, N.Y.
    The UDC will host a presentation by Robert R. Mason Jr., Delaware River Master, and Kendra Russell, Deputy Delaware River Master, before its monthly meeting.
    The meeting will include a synopsis of minutes from the three standing council committees; potential status reports from the Delaware River Basin Commission, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, National Park Service, and the UDC Executive Director; discussion of old and new business; and public comment.

    The UDC is dedicated to the conservation of the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River. It includes the townships of Damascus, Berlin, Lackawaxen, Shohola, and Westfall in Pennsylvania; the towns of Hancock, Fremont, Delaware, Cochecton, Tusten, Highland, Lumberland, and Deerpark in New York; the two states; and the Delaware River Basin Commission in partnership with the National Park Service.
