Restaurant Impossible takes on the Pinehurst

GREELEY — Robert Irvine of the Food Network's "Restaurant Impossible" intends to transform the money-losing Pinehurst Country Lodge into a popular and profitable business when he swoops into town next week.
He'll be taping an episode at the restaurant, located at 108 Greeley Lake Road in Greeley, on Wednesday and Thursday, March 27 and 28. The public is invited to attend the grand re-opening on Thursday, March 28, starting at 7 p.m. Make reservations for the night by calling 570-685-4240.
Irvine's mission is to save America's most desperate restaurants from impending failure in just two days with only $10,000. The show airs on Wednesday nights on the Food Network.
Not much can be revealed about the Pinehurst project at this point, except that the restaurant, like all the others featured on the show, is financially struggling. One of the challenges the Pinehurst faces is its location in a tourism area, where business booms during peak seasons but falls off at other times of the year, a show spokesperson said.
Roger and Sandy Murray bought the Pinehurst eight months ago. They recently moved to Pennsylvania from the New York metropolitan area.
Irvine will focus on every aspect of the business, including the menu and decor, the wait staff, the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen, and general business practices.
