Scouting Jamboree Weekend at PEEC

DINGMANS FERRY — The Pocono Environmental Education Center is hosting its Scouting Jamboree Weekend on Dec. 12 and 13.

Highlights include activities in the woods, learning how to track animals, doing crafts, and eating campfire food.

The kids will get to enhance their skills and make memories while earning scouting badges for the environment, the natural world, and the outdoors.

The cost is $95 for children ages 7 to 10, and $125 for ages 11 and older.

The Pocono Environmental Education Center located at 538 Emery Road, just off Route 209 inside the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Dingmans Ferry. Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are welcome with parent leaders supervising at all times.
