— Delaware Valley Middle School Drama Club’s choice this year, "Snoopy," has seen a revival in the last few years, partly fueled by the movie "Peanuts" released last year, explained Director Angela Gutierrez in the program notes.
The show was presented in November in the Delaware Valley High School auditorium to a full house and appreciative audiences for several performances. Many local businesses sponsor the annual event with concession contributions and raffles.
“(The movie) exposed a whole new generation of kids to these lovable characters," Gutierrez stated in the program. The cast members got to “know and love” the characters, and brought special memories up for her, and to anyone who came in touch with the movie or play.
She especially thanked the eighth graders who took the lead in the production, at the same time saying she appreciates everyone in the drama club.
