Math Jeopardy' at Delaware Valley just like the real thing

Delaware Valley Elementary School third and fourth graders competed in a Math Bee this spring. There were two students chosen from each third and fourth grade classroom. From there, the students competed against one another in the library, where they had to answer questions from a white board presentation. The top five students who answered the most questions right were once again placed in a competition to answer questions in a tie-breaker round. Finally, the top three went on to another round and played Math Jeopardy. This was played just like the real Jeopardy, with categories, money amounts and buzzers. The winners of Math Jeopardy, from the left are: first place, third grader Drake Eshleman; second place, Ryan Weeks; and third place, Jacob Marcial. The winners are pictured here with the host of the Math Bee, Teacher Tammy Moglia. (Contributed photo)
