Med center is now ‘officially' open

DINGMANS FERRY — Dingmans Medical Center held their grand opening celebration this past Saturday. This was the official opening, but Dr. Lisa Pathak has been operating the center on state Route 739 in Dingmans Ferry in April. Pathak and her husband, Dr. Raj Dalavi (pictured), were on hand Saturday with their two young daughters to cut the grand opening celebration ribbon. The Pike County Chamber of Commerce was on hand as well as about 60 well wishers. Dalavi told the crowd they intend to expand the center and offer many needed medical services to the area. “Just give me six months to make additional improvements to this center.” The center will have a variety of doctors who specialize in many fields. Pathak’s staff was on hand to give tours of the medical center. There was plenty of free food and refreshments for all those who attended the grand opening.
