Meet the candidates

MILFORD — The Pike County Builders Association and The Pike County Chamber of Commerce are hosting a “Meet the Candidates Night” from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Oct. 14, at Mount Haven Restaurant Expected to attend are: state Senator Elizabeth Baker (R-20), Congressman Christopher Carney (D-10), and his opponent, Republican Christopher Hackett, state Representative Michael Peifer (R-139), state Representative John Siptroth (D-189), and his Republican opponent, John Sivick. Each candidate will speak 5 minutes and then there will be a question and answer period from the floor. Guests are welcome. A pasta and salad buffet, with glass of wine, will be offered at $25 per person. The event is sponsored by MetLife Home Loans and Fireside Hearth and Home.
