Miles and miles....

Terri Peters’ Kindergarten class at Shohola Elementary has been participating in the J.B Hunt Adopt-A-Driver program this year. This program pairs drivers with elementary school classes in an effort to provide children the opportunity to learn about the transportation industry in a dynamic way. Mr. DeMeritt, grandfather of classmate H. Flood, drives the eastern seaboard and stopped in to give the class an up close and personal look at his rig. To date, the class has tracked Mr. DeMeritt for 19,181 miles. (Contributed photo)
