Milford man arrested in N.Y. robbery

    NEWBURGH, N.Y. — Newburgh City Police arrested and charged a 38 year-old Milford man in connection with a Wednesday strong-arm robbery at a gas station-convenience store in the city. Police say Thomas Corrie of 154 Bennett Avenue grabbed a paper bag full of cigarette boxes from a clerk and fled from the store during the early morning robbery. On the following morning police broke up and early morning fistfight in the city and identified Corrie, formerly of New Windsor, N.Y., as one those fighting. He was charged with robbery and disorderly conduct.
