Milford radiation oncologist joins

St. Anthony Community Hospital Warwick, N.Y. Dr. Jose Luis Pino-y-Torres, a board certified physician in therapeutic radiology as well as hematology, oncology and internal medicine, has joined the medical staff of St. Anthony Community Hospital,. Pino-y-Torres is a member of the Upper Delaware Valley Cancer Center in Milford, Pa. He now maintains another office at St. Anthony Community Hospital and is available to visit hospital patients every day. The Upper Delaware Valley Cancer Center is the first and most convenient facility available to St. Anthony Community Hospital patients, that offers Tomo Therapy, a state-of-the-art integrated system for delivering radiation treatment for cancer. The Upper Delaware Valley Cancer Center is located on US Route 6/209 just north of Milford, and is associated with Bon Secours Community Hospital, in Port Jervis, N.Y. Pinto-y-Torres completed his medical studies at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain and his internship at Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program in Arizona. He then served his residency at the University of Minnesota Affiliated Hospitals. He also received a fellowship in hematology-oncology from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and, later, another fellowship in radiation oncology from Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
