Milford — Gene Tick, a Realtor at Milford’s Weichert, Realtors - Ruffino Real Estate, has been awarded the Accredited Buyer Representation designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, Inc. of the National Association of Realtors. Tick joins fellow real estate professionals throughout North America who have earned the designation by completing a comprehensive course in buyer representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty, in addition to submitting documentation verifying professional experience. The Council was founded in 1988. With more than 43,000 active members, it is the world’s largest association of real estate professionals focusing specifically on representing the real estate buyers. The association, “The Voice for Real Estate,” is the world’s largest professional association representing over a million members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry. “We continue to be impressed by Gene’s tireless work and unmatched service to both buyers and sellers,” said Realtor/Owner Donna Ruffino. “Earning the ABR designation is just another example of his going the extra mile to be the best.” Tick can be reached at Weichert, Realtors - Ruffino Real Estate, 406 W. Harford Street, telephone 570-296-7570.
