More than one first at this communion

Saturday was a special day for the families and the 32 children taking their first Holy Communion at St. Patrick’s Church in Milford. In addition to the first for the new members of the congregation, this was the first spring communion class for the new sanctuary, which was completed and opened last fall. About 400 persons attended the morning ceremony, including the Wassmer family, which led the field in participants, with three junior members, Lisa, Mark and Brian all taking their first Holy Sacrament.
