New doc at Pike Center

BLOOMING GROVE “I used to vacation here a lot at Woodloch Pinesand I have family here. It was a natural fit,” says John Weisenreider, M.D., who is now officially seeing patients at the Pike County Medical Center (PCMC) in Lords Valley. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Weisenreider was born in Brooklyn but worked for about 25 years in Warren, New Jersey. After medical school, he completed his residency at Muhlenburg Regional Medical Center in New Jersey. “I like the Poconos,” Dr. Weisenreider continues, “and I’m really looking forward to living and working here fulltime.” Married with two sons, Dr. Weisenreider lives in Hawley. He is accepting new patients and can be contacted at the PCMC 570-775-7100. The center also offers x-rays, mammograms and blood work, as well as Obstetrics/Gynecology services through Women’s Health Care of Northeast Pennsylvania.
