New name - it's not just boring ‘day camp' anymore

DINGMANS FERRY — New name — same great fun. Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA is pleased to announce that its summer day camp program has been named “YMCA Camp Discovery.” “In the past the program was called ‘Day Camp’, we wanted something that was a lot more fun and represented the great experience the campers have.” said Chief Operating Officer Cherie Hammond. YMCA Camp Discovery will be offered Mondays — Friday beginning June 23 through Aug. 22. The camp day is 8:30 a.m. — 5 p.m. with extended day options available to meet the needs of working parents.
