Newberry Medal book reports at Shohola

At Shohola Elementary School, students in Ms. Goudreau’s sixth grade class are working on their recently assigned project dealing with Newberry Award winning books. The students had to read a Newberry Medal award winning book and do a book report project. Completing the report includes: writing a paragraph describing the main character, drawing a scene that they thought was important, and writing a sentence portraying what is happening in the story, along with many other detailed requirements. This project is one of the many activities the students complete each marking period. Submitted by: Dominic Montemarano. (Contributed photo)
