Milford — The long awaited weekend is finally here. On the evening of June 8, the music begins all around Milford and doesn’t stop until late Sunday afternoon, as artists like headliner, Dave Mason, The Alfred James Band, the Mahavisnu Project, and more will fill the town with sounds that will have everyone “Feelin’ Alright!” The main venue will be the Ann Street Park and all performances in the big tent there will be free of charge. Various other businesses and restaurants around town will also be hosting live performances. For a complete listing, visit www.milfordmusic.org. or call Angel Barnard at 570-296-1339. To ensure the safety and maximum listening experience for all those that come to enjoy the music, there are a few guidelines for activities in the Ann Street Park: No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park; however, coolers are permitted (food concessions will be available). There is no smoking inside the big tent; seating is on a first come/first serve basis; no ball playing; and no dogs. Feel free to bring chairs or blankets and help keep the park area clean by disposing of your own trash. Be courteous of the neighbors, as Ann Street Park is located in a residential area. Come to listen, come for the experience. Just come.
