No 'Green #5' here
4-H Day Camp is going organic MILFORD Pike County 4-H and Monroe County 4-H will team up this summer to present the 4-H Goes Green Day Camp. This program has been developed for children between the ages of 8 and 13 years old and will focus on the new 4-H initiative to “Go Green”. Children will be actively involved in hands-on learning projects focusing on how they can reduce their carbon impact. Participants will make an organic garden and learn the benefits of conserving energy. 4-H Goes Green Day Camp will be conducted at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area’s Bushkill Meeting Center on US Route 209 in Bushkill. Camp is scheduled for Aug. 5 -7. Children meet each day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Applications for 4-H Day Camp are now available and the cost to register is $65. Registration is limited and registration deadline is July 28, so register your child soon!
