Pearce to manage Pike for McCain campaign

WESTFALL — Zachary K. Pearce, 18, of Westfall has been named chairman of the John McCain for President Campaign in Pike County. Pearce will lead a team of veteran Republicans working together to make sure people can truly see the natural positives of Senator McCain’s election to the highest office in the land. Pearce, who leaves for college in late August said, “We have a duty as civically engaged citizens to do our part whenever and wherever possible. “This election is about bringing the country together in a by-partisan fashion; Senator McCain has a record of doing that. His opponent does not. Senator McCain has not apologized to members of his own party for unpopular positions he has taken, instead he has stood on principle. It is that independent, pragmatic leadership the country is so desperately yearning for.”
