Peers share narcotics warnings

Recently, Delaware Valley SASA (Students Against Substance Abuse) went to the Delaware Valley Elementary School to help teach 4th, 5th and 6th graders about the harmful effects of substance abuse. Students were separated into four groups. SASA students used games, posters, skits, and spinning activities (to simulate being drunk) to help engage and educate the elementary students about narcotics. SASA members, advised by Kimberly McDaniel, included: Kyra Bounds, Michelle Canepa, Kellsey Charity, Chynamarie Colon, Melissa DaSilva, Lauren Dean, Bianca DeSouza, Rachel Dudle, Elena Dunayevska, Kristin Fehr, William Fehr, Rebecca Foley, Joey Gallagher, Katie Hart, Shannon Heaney, Alexandria Herrick, Michelle Hornig, Morgan Leek, Kimberly Mihiel, Emily Neumann, Andrew Oskamp, and Tabitha Pekkala.
