MILFORD n The Pike County Builders Association (PCBA), is opening a new office. The association will be hosting a grand opening and ribbon cutting Ceremony on June 12 at 4 p.m. The new office is located in the Pike County Chamber Building at 209 East Harford Street in Milford. The public is welcome to attend. The PCBA’s office is open everyday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., except Thursday. The Executive Officer Bette Eagan, who manages the office with the help of her Administrative Assistant Cathy Dotey, stated that “the Association has grown to almost 300 members and the need for an office open to the public in the right location was essential.” Although it took a long time to find the suitable site, one was found central to the Pike County area. Members and consumers can log onto www.pikecountybuilders.com for a list of the membership and events that are coming up on the PCBA Calendar. Currently, an International Code course will be held on June 13 at the Settler’s Inn in Hawley. This will be an overview of the new 2006 code course. On July 10, the Association will hold their annual Political Action Fundraiser Pig Roast at the American Legion in Milford. For any questions on these events or membership requirements, contact the office at 570-296-5589.
