Pike girl is state finalist

Milford - Twelve-year-old Kaitlin Hagglund of Milford has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Pennsylvania Pageant to be held in July at the Hilton Towers in Harrisburg. The pageant is for girls ages 10 to 12. The winner will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, roses, and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California. According to her handwritten press release, she enjoys cheerleading, skiing, drama and gymnastics, in addition to reading and “taking care of her many pets.” She is a high honor student at Delaware Valley Middle School. Kaitlin’s sponsors included Milford Chrysler and the Rose family. Her parents are Denise and Bob Hagglund.
