Police probing missing fire & ambulance funds

PromisedLand — State police reported on Jan. 10 that an investigation has begun of financial records of the PromisedLand Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Association. A brief press release stated police are “investigating a theft,” and that “ money had been taken from the volunteer fire department and ambulance association over a period of approximately 10 years.” No further information was available at press time. The investigation is continuing.
