January 23 Trevone Waxter, age 24, of Culvert Street, Port Jervis, was arrested at headquarters and charged on an Active Bench Warrant. He was processed and held pending arraignment in City Court. Edward Blatchford, age 21, of North Street, Middletown, was arrested at headquarters and charged with Burglary 2, and Grand Larceny 4, both felonies. He was also charged with Possession of Burglary Tool, a misdemeanor. He was processed and held pending arraignment in City Court. Michael Anthony Blatchford, age 21, of Pike Street, Port Jervis, was arrested at headquarters and charged with Burglary 2 and Grand Larceny 4, both felony charges. He was processed and held pending arraignment in City Court. Patrick Wayne Maillet, age 30, of West Main Street, Port Jervis, was arrested at headquarters and charged with Unlawful Imprisonment 2, Menacing 2nd and Assault 3rd, all misdemeanors. He was processed and held pending arraignment in City Court. January 25 Anthony Bower, age 37, of Port Jervis, was arrested on East Main Street and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 3. He was processed and released with a future date to appear in City Court. Hassan Rodriquez, age 28, of Monticello, N.Y. was arrested at headquarters and charged on an Active Bench Warrant. He was processed and held pending arraignment in City Court. Omar Latimore, age 25, of Monticello, was arrested at headquarters and charged on an Active Bench Warrant. He was processed and held pending arraignment in City Court. A 17-year-old Port Jervis female was arrested on Ferry Street and charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. She was processed and released with a future date to appear in City Court. David Lombardo, age 20, of Marlboro, N.Y, was arrested on Ridge Avenue and charged with Disorderly Conduct, a violation and Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor. He was processed and held pending arraignment in City Court. James Giles, age 39, of Brooklyn Street Port Jervis, was arrested on East Main Street and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 7, a misdemeanor. He was processed and released with a future date to appear in City Court. January 26 Tiffany Ann Topel, age 29, of Orange Street Port Jervis, was issued appearance tickets to appear in City Court for Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 3 and Unlicensed Driver. January 27 Clifford H. Clark Jr., age 39 of Cherry Street Port Jervis, was issued an appearance ticket to appear in City Court for Suspended Registration. January 29 Maryann Murphy, age 34, of Fowler Street, Port Jervis, was charged by City Police with Assault in the Second Degree, a class D felony, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor, following a reported disturbance that occurred inside a residence on Fowler Street. Murphy is accused of stabbing a 50 year old male subject in the hand with a kitchen knife. The victim was treated and released at Bon Secours Hospital. The defendant was subsequently held overnight in the City lockup without bail pending a city court appearance. January 30 Maicol R. Ostrowski, age 24, of Highland Avenue, Middletown, N.Y. was arrested and charged Port Jervis and Middletown City with multiple counts of Forcible Touching and Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree and Third Degree, all misdemeanors. The arrest stems from a joint investigation by both agencies into multiple reports of incidents that allegedly occurred in the City of Port Jervis and the City of Middletown during the months of December 2008 and January 2009. The defendant allegedly followed and approached females who were walking on the street and sexually abused them. Ostrowski was held pending Court appearances in both municipalities. Anyone with information pertaining to these incidents are asked to call Port Jervis or Middletown police. February 3 Calvin Derik Snype, age 30, of East Main Street, Port Jervis, was arrested on Front Street and charged with Assault in the Second Degree, (D Felony) (on a police officer), Criminal Mischief in the Third degree (Felony) Resisting Arrest (A Misd) and Disorderly Conduct (violation) after police investigated a report of subjects fighting in the street. Snype is accused of physically attacking the responding officers at the scene causing one of the officers to sustain injuries that necessitated emergency medical treatment at Bon Secours Community Hospital. The defendant was subdued by officers after a violent struggle and the deployment of pepper spray. After being placed in a patrol vehicle, the defendant kicked out the car’s rear window and dented the door. Snype was processed and subsequently arraigned in City Court and remanded to Orange County Jail without bail pending further Court action.
