MILFoRD — The Ann Street School will be hosting a free preschool vision screening on Monday, March 9, at the Milford United Methodist Church, 206 East Ann Street, Milford. The Greater Wilkes-Barre Association for the Blind has a preschool vision screening program to help discover possible vision problems before a child enters school. Appointments are necessary. It has been estimated that ninety percent of what we learn comes through our vision, so it is important to detect vision problems as soon as possible. Early detection and correction or treatment of vision problems not only prevents possible blindness but also leads to greater academic success. To make an appointment, call The Ann Street School at 570-296-6124.
