Reading buddies at Dingman-Delaware

Mackenzie Foster, an eighth-grade student in Mrs. Fluette’s and Mrs. McAndrew’s reading class at Dingman-Delaware Middle School, is seen here working with Brooke McMickle and Macy Palma, third-grade students in Mr. Cholish’s class at Dingman-Delaware Elementary School. The students are taking part in a reading buddies program that was recently instituted at the schools. The classes will meet throughout the year to work on a variety of reading skills. The eighth-grade students will be responsible for helping to develop the reading materials and leading the groups of students while completing the activities.
