Register now for library little kids' programs

Milford — Registration is open for several Pike County Public Library programs appropriate for infant through preschool aged children. Little ones, ages 3 to 5, can celebrate Valentine’s Day on Saturday, Feb. 14 with stories and a craft at the library headquarters in Milford from 1 to 1:45 p.m., or at the Dingman Township Branch from 1 to 2 p.m. Weekly Story Hours, for children ages three to six, will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 2 to 2:45 p.m., at the library’s Milford headquarters. This program will run through June. Studies show that it is never too early to introduce children to the joys of reading. Weekly “Lapsit” Programs for babies and toddlers begin on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at the Milford headquarters. A session, for ages newborn through 17-months, will run from 12:15 until 12:45 p.m., and for ages 18-months through 35-months from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m. For more information or to register a child for a program, call the appropriate branch: Milford at 570-296-8211 or Dingman Township at 570-686-7045.
