    • Arrest warrants have been issued for Raymond Emerson Taylor, 53, of Ridge, N.Y., who allegedly has three times violated a court order of protection issued to his wife, a 51 year-old Bushkill resident. Police say Taylor’s last violation came on Jan. 18, when he telephoned a threatening message to his wife. • Fourteen waste hauling vehicles were inspected by state police at the Palmyra weigh station on Interstate Highway 84 on January 20 as part of a Department of Environmental Protection program. The inspections led to 42 safety violation warnings, 29 citations for safety violations, and five trucks being removed from service. • Police said a 14 year-old backseat passenger suffered a head injury when a car collided with a tractor trailer at 7:50 a.m. on the morning of Jan. 24. Police said a 16 year-old Milford youth, driving a 1993 Chevrolet Camaro lost control of the car and slid across the eastbound passing lane of Interstate Highway 84, struck the guiderail on the opposite side and bounced back into the passing lane where the car struck a 2006 International driven by Russell J. Schoffner, 49, of Wapakoneta, Ohio. The truck, loaded with plastic products, rolled over in the median attempting to avoid the accident. The injured passenger was transported to Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis. Neither the Camaro’s driver, nor a 17 year-old front seat passenger were injured and police said no charges would be issued against Schoffner. The accident caused a one-hour closure of the eastbound lanes. The westbound passing lane was closed for seven hours for the truck spill cleanup.
