Republicans set agenda and events calendar

    MILFORD — The Pike County Republican Committee held their monthly Meeting on May 29 at the Bloomingrove Fire House. The Committee is gearing up to throw it’s complete support for John McCain (President), Chris Hackett (US House of Representatives, 10th Congressional District), Michael Peifer (Pa. House of Representatives, 139 District) and John Sivic( PA House of Representative 189th District). Also on the agenda was the Pike County Republican Committee Annual Picnic which will be held on July 13,. Kevin Stroyan, who is chairing the picnic committee, stated that tickets are now being sold. They are priced at $25 each. Those 12 and under and those over 90 are free! This will be a fun filled family event with lots of great food , games. and prizes.
