Salutatorian, Kaelyn Stadtmueller

WESTFALL n Delaware Valley High School Class of 2007’s salutatorian is Kaelyn Stadtmueller, daughter of Richard and Diane Stadtmueller of Dingman’s Ferry. Kaelyn plans to attend the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering to pursue an engineering degree. Kaelyn is a very active scholar. In the regional conference of the Future Business Leaders of America, she won second place (grade 11). Kaelyn has also been involved in Science Olympiad, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. She has been on the Student Council (grade 9, 10, 11 and 12) and in the Orchestra, winning the Orchestra Director’s Award in 10th grade. Kaelyn was named as a National Merit Scholarship Finalist (grade 12) in the National Merit Scholarship program and she was the recipient of the Rensselaer Medal Award in her junior year. She was also a World Finalist for the Odyssey of the Mind competition and she placed first in the regional competition (grades 9, 10 and 11) and third place in the state competition during her sophomore year. Kaelyn has been named as a Student of the Month at Delaware Valley for many years and she was a member of the Scholastic Bowl (grades 9 and 10). In the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science conferences, Kaelyn placed first in the regional conference and second in the state conference in her junior year. Kaelyn attended Keystone Girls State (11th grade), the Rotary Leadership Camp (10th grade) and the Lead America Conference on Engineering, Science and Robotics (11th grade.) She was chosen for the Top Math Student Award (grade 10) and she tutors math students.
