Single homes, not in a row

MILFORD - Borough planners on Monday began discussion of amending Milford’s legal definition of permitted single family housing. Code enforcement officer Duane Kuhn said the current definition does not discriminate between attached and unattached homes and could open the door for row housing. In other business Monday, the planning commission approved conditional use and recommended zoning variances for James and Theresa Montemarano’s restoration of the former Sportmen’s Rendevous building on West Harford Street, and Donna Geba’s improvements at the former power company building at 219 Broad Street.
