The Wallenpaupack Historical Society annual quilt has been completed after 446 hours of work and 1,810 miles driven by members and is ready to raise funds to support the society’s preservation of local and lake history. This year’s queen-size quilt is red, white, and blue patterned in the “hole in the barn door” also known as: Monkey Wrench, Double Wrench, Churn Dash. Members will be selling tickets for the quilt around area venues or those interested may contact Shirley Coutts at 570-226-4454. A drawing will be held at the society’s November meeting. Barbara Briden is pictured putting finishing touches on the quilt.
