Boy Scouts to hold 'Bridge 5K' this Saturday

SHOHOLA — Boy Scout Troop 76 will hold its annual Shohola-Barryville Bridge 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 14, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
This annual event is the troop’s largest fundraiser , held in conjunction with the Shohola Township Park & Recreations Committee’s “Pumpkins in the Park Festival.”
The 5K Run/Walk, complete with a “Kids’ K,” begins and ends at Rohman Park, Shohola. The scenic course runs through Shohola, across the Delaware River into Barryville, N.Y., and back. Proceeds will benefit both the Boy Scout Troop 76 and the Ecumenical Food Pantry of Pike County.
