Support the preserve

The Pocono Land Trust will be teaming up with Stroud Township, Pocono Heritage Land Trust, Brodhead Watershed Association and 1% For Nature to promote awareness of conservation and raise funds for the Brodhead Creek Heritage Center.

In 2013, Stroud Township, local conservation groups, and members of our community transformed a shuttered golf course into the ForEvergreen Nature Preserve. In just a few short years, the preserve has become a premier destination in Monroe County for walkers, runners, fishermen and nature enthusiasts. The Nature Preserve is home to eagles, birds, nature trails, trout fishing and the Brodhead Creek Heritage Center.

Completed in 2018, the center has become an integral part of the community, hosting educational seminars, community events, conservation groups and an historical museum.
