MILFORD — Delaware Valley High School (Milford, Pa.) defeated Western Wayne High School (Lake Ariel, Pa.) in varsity softball on Tuesday, April 19.
The final score was 11-4. The game took place at Airport Park in Matamoras, Pa.
DV's Stephanie O'Grady and Lyndsay Floystad each knocked in three RBI's. Amanda Floystad knocked in two RBI's for DDV. Teammates Mia Machado, MacKenna Powell and Amber Recksiek each knocked in one RBI.
DV pitcher MacKenna Powell struck out four batters in seven innings.
Western Wayne's Makayla Rose, Hannah Roedel and M. Johnson each knocked in one RBI.
