WESTFALL -The Warriors came out of their eighth game undefeated after beating Valley View on October 21st. The final score of 41-27 reflected some late game miscues by the Warriors, who led by 27 points at halftime. Tony Witty and Richie Hearon contributed two touchdowns that led the Warriors into the second quarter. The Warriors followed up as Caleb Holocher, Joe Strauder, and Billy Scheuer scored, bringing DV into halftime on top by 34-7. The last DV touchdown of the game was scored by Joe Satuder in the third quarter. The Warrior’s second string was inserted in the second half after Stauder scored off the first possession, but Valley View made a speedy comeback which led the first team to be re-played until the end of the game. The face-off between the undefeated teams, Delaware Valley and Abington Heights, will take place on Saturday, October 29, at 1:00 P.M. at the Comet stadium.
