MATAMORAS — Delaware Valley High School defeated Valley View High School (Archbald) in girls varsity softball on Monday, April 13 at Airport Park in Matamoras. The final score was 7 to 0.

Delaware Valley pitcher MacKenna Powell threw five strikeouts in seven innings played and earned the win.

Valley View's Nicole Fata threw two strikeouts in six innings played.
