MATAMORAS — Delaware Valley Senior field hockey player Marielle Cavallaro signed with Saint Francis University – Division I.
She is the daughter of Paul and Cristin Cavallaro of Matamoras.
In high school, she played center midfield for the Warriors. She was a captain and an All-State and All-League selection in 2014. In addition, she was recognized as an All-American Academic selection.
This senior standout is also editor-in-chief of her school newspaper and a member of Student Council, Athletic Leadership Council, prom committee and she serves as the treasurer of the senior class. Cavallaro is also a member of the varsity softball team.
She plans on majoring in American Studies at St. Francis.
